Purpose

Perform diverse operations on a variety of CNC machines.

  • Use engineering drawings, AutoCAD files and other TTI specifications to produce close tolerance mechanical parts.
  • Run various other production equipment as required to produce quality mechanical parts.
  • Set up and operate diverse operations on a variety of conventional machines.

Education/Qualifications

  • Vocational training and/or experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
  • Ability to accurately read measuring devices and engineering drawings and interpret geometric tolerances.
  • Must possess good verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds safely.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, lift and twist. Must be able to juggle multiple projects while following through on all required tasks.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently.
  • Capable of memorizing and following procedures for multiple assignments.
  • Must be able to tolerate an occasional noisy environment as well as many different functions operating in and around the area at one time.

Controls Engineer

 

Telesis Technologies, Inc. (Telesis) is looking for a skilled candidate for the position of Controls Engineer. The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

Purpose

Working at Telesis Technologies as an Automation Controls Engineer, you will be part of a custom systems integration team. You will be tasked with applying your knowledge and skills to develop, implement and integrate industrial controls and automation solutions with our marking technology.

 

The Controls Engineer will be a trusted partner to the Director of Custom Engineering responsible for:

  • Design and develop control system applications with limited assistance. Includes PLC programming, HMI development, Vision and Motion Applications. Additional project applications may include Electrical Design and Robotics
  • Responsible for project installations, startups and implementation of Factory Assessment Tests (FAT) at our facility and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at customer’s facility
  • Provide customer training
  • Provide sales estimating support of labor hours

 

Skills:

  • -5+ years of industry experience in PLC programming and HMI development. PLC programming preferred in Rockwell. Mitsubishi, Omron, or Siemens is a plus.
  • 2+ years of industry experience in Vision system integration. Cognex preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline
  • Ability to read electrical wiring schematics
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects
  • Ability to travel to and work at client locations (sometimes on short notice) up to 25%
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Lives in or around the Columbus, Ohio Metro area
  • US Citizenship or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without a Visa
  • AutoCAD Electrical drawing design is a plus
  • Robot programming experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of NEC Code, NFP79 and ISO 13849-1 is a plus
  • Option to work remotely when doing certain tasks

Field Service Engineer

Telesis Technologies, Inc. (Telesis) is looking for a skilled candidate for the position of Field Service Engineer. The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

 

Position Description:

Telesis Technologies, Inc. is searching for a Field Service Engineer for its Pinstamp® (dot-peen) and Laser marking systems.  This position requires heavy travel primarily throughout North America, excellent communication skills, and the mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems for our customers.  These services are provided on-site at our customer’s facilities and via telephone and/or email if the situation permits.

Qualifications:

·         2-year Electronics or Laser Electro-Optics, or equivalent Electronic Training (military) experience

·         2-5 years’ experience as Field Service Technician in a manufacturing environment a plus

·         Experience with programming and troubleshooting CO2/YAG/Green/UV lasers and industrial PLC’s helpful

·         Ability to login to an existing Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC program and bypass, add, modify logic changes or assist with PLC logic changes at direction of Telesis Technologies, Inc Controls Engineer who would be at remote location.

·         Understanding of electronic device communication standards, such as RS-232, RS-485 and Ethernet, Ethernet IP, Profinet protocols.

·         Proven ability to connect components via Ethernet protocol, set up static IP’s

·         Experience in industrial vision systems used for reading, grading and inspection tools

·         Use and operation of Digital Multi Meter, Laser Power Meter and RF Power Meters.

·         Working knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams

·         Self-motivated, with the ability to work well individually, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Laser Repair Technician

 

Telesis Technologies, Inc. (Telesis) is looking for the position of Laser Repair Technician. The Laser Repair Tech performs the Repair of Telesis Technologies’ laser marking equipment. Interfaces with Technical Services Manager as required for job clarification and prioritization. Observes and reports patterns. Recommends product improvements or enhancements. Works towards continual improvement of the product and the work cell.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work with Engineering and Quality Assurance departments to develop new manufacturing processes to ensure product is manufactured of the highest quality. Review existing processes and implement improvements for efficiency and quality. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes. This position will focus on Standard Pin Stamp assembly and Machine Shop. The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

Purpose

The Manufacturing Engineer will be a trusted partner to the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include:

  • ·Apply best practices in all functions of manufacturing process, equipment and facilities to ensure product quality.
  • Lead Kaizen activities to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, productivity, cost savings and/or product quality.
  • Suggest and justify new tooling, equipment needed for manufacturing processes.
  • Provide support for manufacturing through troubleshooting and analyzing assembly problems and providing solutions. Work with additional departments as necessary.
  • Review workspace layouts and implement improvements for efficiency, ergonomics and safety.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality Assurance departments during the development stages to ensure manufacturability of new product. Design jigs/fixtures and test equipment needed for product verification and validation.
  • Review and update production cycle times to ensure accurate product cost, headcount, and scheduling.
  • Work with management in supporting associated KPIs.
  • Work closely in a team environment with management, engineers and manufacturing to promote a quality approach to manufacturing

 

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience in manufacturing and quality engineering preferred.
  • CAD and Edgecam experience a must.
  • ISO 9001:2015 and/or the Ochibo-Hiroi philosophy a plus.
  • Kaizen Exposure a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Ability to write technical documents and procedures

  • Conduct market research and identify trends in vertical markets (aerospace, heavy machinery, medical, electronics, and others)
  • Design and maintain marketing collateral—brochures, white papers, graphics, and other branded documents
  • Identify and analyze competitors and maintain view of competitive landscape
  • Assist in preparing reports via the collection and analysis of sales data
  • Generate clear and engaging product marketing copy
  • Participate in digital marketing initiatives, including interfacing with vendors and consultants to plan, execute, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or content marketing

Education/Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
