Custom Assembly Technician

Telesis Technologies, Inc. (Telesis) is looking for a skilled candidate for the position of Custom Assembly Technician. The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

Purpose

As a Custom Assembly Technician you work in the Production Department to ensure Custom Designed products are built to print/design and meet all customer requirements. Assembly will involve following drawings to build cables, control panels and mechanical structures that will be integrated into a complete system. You are asked to support management in achieving associated departmental and organizations KPIs while helping to foster a safe and healthy work environment.

 

Education/Qualifications

  • Electro-Mechanical Degree preferred.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of all hand and power tools including voltmeters, taps and drills.
  • Comfortable with the safe use of hand tolls for cutting, stripping, drilling and punching of holes in steel cabinets and/or control enclosures.
  • Interpret and understand wiring diagrams, drawings and material types.
  • Mount all control type components (terminals, relays, meters, contacts, breakers, switches, terminal/shorting blocks, lights, etc.) to panel plus cut, strip, route and terminate electrical wire in an extremely neat and organized fashion.
  • Inspect work for quality completion, including labeling requirements, component connection, and professionalism of buildout.

Software Design Engineer

Responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of standard and custom product software. Assist in the integration and application of analog and digital electronic circuits for data entry, motion control, sensing, actuation, communication, and display.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Computer Engineering or related degree and experience.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in software developments
  • Proficient in instrumentation used for diagnostics and control.
  • Embedded and Windows programming skills required with proficiency in C / C++ programming languages.
  • Must possess verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills sufficient for good communication.
  • Exhibit high degree of self-management
  • Possess motor skills sufficient to perform detailed assembly tasks without assistance.

Manufacturing Engineer

Telesis Technologies, Inc. (Telesis) is looking for a skilled Engineer for the position of Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will work with Engineering and Quality Assurance departments to develop new manufacturing processes to ensure product is manufactured of the highest quality. Review existing processes and implement improvements for efficiency and quality. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes. The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

Purpose

The Manufacturing Engineer will be a trusted partner to the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Apply best practices in all functions of manufacturing process, equipment and facilities to ensure product quality.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures to improve manufacturing efficiencies, productivity, cost savings and/or product quality.
  • Suggest and justify new tooling, equipment needed for manufacturing processes.
  • Provide support for manufacturing through troubleshooting and analyzing assembly problems and providing solutions. Work with additional departments as necessary.
  • Review workspace layouts and implement improvements for efficiency, ergonomics and safety.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality Assurance departments during the development stages to ensure manufacturability of new product. Design jigs/fixtures and test equipment needed for product verification and validation.
  • Review and update production cycle times to ensure accurate product cost, headcount, and scheduling.
  • Work with management in supporting associated KPIs.

 

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience in manufacturing and quality engineering preferred.
  • CAD and Edgecam experience a must.
  • ISO 9001:2015 and/or the Ochibo-Hiroi philosophy a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Ability to write technical documents and procedures

Electronics Design Engineer

  • Design and development of new electronic devices as well as improving existing ones.
  • Design of both analog and digital circuits for embedded microprocessors/microcontrollers, HMI, motion control, sensing, actuation, communication, etc.

 

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Capable of complex analog a nd digital circuit design
  • Experience with PC board design with a preference using Altium Designer.

(Telesis) is looking for an energetic, highly skilled and proven leader for a position as Director of Finance.  They will lead the activities of the company’s finance employees in the US as well as IT and international controllers.  The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from managing accounting operations and IT to developing plans for growth to increase company profit to effectively monitoring and communicating the results of those plans.  The position is based in Circleville, Ohio.

The Receptionist manages the switchboard; receives and relays incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.   Takes correct and complete messages when needed and delivers them to appropriate personnel.  Acts as receptionist for clients and visitors – registers visitors, ensures they sign appropriate paperwork and notifies appropriate personnel of their arrival.  Provides support to Human Resources by alleviating minor administrative details and doing special projects as needed.
